Herb Lipsman, formerly senior vice president of marketing & business development for The Redstone Companies and chief executive officer of Houstonian Lite Health Clubs will now be serving as president and CEO of The Health Club Company.

Herb Lipsman, Chairman of The Mayor’s Wellness Council (far left) and Eduardo Sanchez (far right), MD and Director of the Institute for Health Policy School of Public Health - UT Health Science Center at Houston lead elementary school children during the “Flag Lap” ceremony at the kick off of Marathon Kids ’06-’07 for Greater Houston. The program, started by Kay Morris in Austin ten years ago, now attracts over 100,000 elementary school children from throughout Texas and now in Los Angeles and New York City. The Houston area expects to attract nearly 20,000 children in this, its second year with the program.
