Herb Lipsman Selected to Speak at IHRSA
Herb Lipsman, founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Health Club Company, has been selected to speak at the March 5-8, 2008 International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) event in San Diego, CA. Herb will be speaking Friday, March 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM on the topic of “Leading Your Community’s Battle Against Obesity & Helping Your Club/Company at the Same Time.” As Chairman of Houston Mayor Bill White’s Wellness Council, Herb launched the Get Moving Houston campaign with the mission of leveraging the auspices of the Mayor’s Office in collaboration with public, private, and non-profit sectors in the Greater Houston area to encourage and motivate Houstonians of all ages and abilities to make wise choices regarding healthy eating and regular physical activity through education and participation in fun activities.
